How safe is my money in Liechtenstein?
Under Article 9 of the Statutes for the Deposit Guarantee and Investor Protection Foundation of the Liechtenstein Bankers Association, deposits are protected up to a value of 100,000 Swiss francs. For the protection of investors, ie securities transactions, the Foundation granted a cover up to 30,000 Swiss francs for each customer and bank. However, the total compensation is in principle limited to 400 million Swiss francs.
